We want people to understand the “why” of what we do. We believe in an experiential and sensory approach to our systems, and that the quality of audio and video reproduction truly matters. A superior level of installation and execution is directly related to the success of that experience, and the ease of use cannot be overstated. It becomes incumbent to carefully listen to the end user. Service is not just another category of business, but is imbedded in the DNA of our company and is the lifeblood of our success. We believe that true collaboration is the purist expression of inspiration. Most importantly we believe that excellence is not an accident or a singular event but a habit that is in turn, rewarded in all measurable ways.
We will continue to build on our nearly 30 year history of successes, but in an even more inclusive way. Utilizing our showroom as a vehicle, we will host CEDIA, ASID, AIA and other trade events, sponsor live music concerts, digital art and multi-media exhibits, thereby exposing new audiences to bespoke systems and new technologies. Our aim is to be at the intersection of art and technology.
Since 1991, Ed Gilmore and Gilmore’s Sound Advice, Inc. have been designing, deploying and servicing hundreds of integrated systems by strictly adhering to a word of mouth recommendation policy. Typical systems comprise of Audio & Video Distribution, Home Theater, Lighting & Shading systems, Enterprise level network/WiFi &Telephony along with HVAC & Security systems integration. In 2016, Gilmore created one of the most unique showroom & event spaces in New York City. Increased space allows GSA to rack build, program & test systems prior to deployment. In addition GSA has the ability to qualify dimming capabilities of new LED lighting fixtures. As a classically trained musician, Gilmore’s involvement in live musical events at concert halls and recording studios further assures the client that with this unique perspective, Gilmore’s Sound Advice, Inc. will always provide a superior sounding system regardless of aesthetic, design, or budgetary concerns.
