FAQ - Does the HTA Provide Leads?

Yes and No.

No: We are not a listing service like Angi, Houzz, Yelp, or HomeAdvisor, which has a business model of paying for leads. The HTA is meant for well-established firms that are self-sufficient and are not reliant on paying for leads for their existence.

Yes: There are three ways you can get leads through HTA Certification:

  1. The HTA profile page. Each HTA Certified integrator's profile page is SEO-optimized and often appears high in website searches. The integrator's HTA page includes a direct website link, a contact form, and the integrator's phone number for direct contact by a prospective client.
  2. The HTA's budget calculator can be 'gated' to serve as a lead source. Integrators can embed the HTA budget calculator with special code that requires prospective clients to submit their name and email to obtain budget results, directly yielding leads.
  3. The most effective and sustainable way to generate leads is by building strong relationships with builders, architects, and interior designers. We teach integrators how to do this effectively, using the HTA elevator pitch and the HTA Design Partner designation to help them get hired earlier and secure ongoing referrals from these professionals.
