Jason Knott is Data Solutions Architect & Evangelist at D-Tools, the leading business management software provider for the low-voltage industry. He was the Editor-in-Chief for CE Pro for 23 years from 2000 to 2023, and prior to that the Editor-in-Chief for Security Sales & Integration from 1990 to 2000. He served as chairman of the Security Industry Association’s Education Committee from 2000-2004 and sat on the board of that association from 1998-2002. He is also a former board member of the Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation and served on the CEDIA Business Education Committee for 10 years. Jason graduated from the University of Southern California.
