Project Technology Assessment - For Integrators

The HTA’s “Project Technology Assessment” (PTA) form is a vital tool for HTA Certified integrators to engage architects, interior designers, and builders effectively. Frustratingly, integrators are usually brought to projects too late, leading to compromises in design and performance. Nobody wins. The PTA form can change that.

These forms are © by the Home Technology Association and for HTA Certified integrators. All HTA Certified integrators receive a personalized version of this form with your logo and your unique tracking URL in every link. These links put you at the top of the dealer finder when someone visits the HTA site from the form, and includes the "send this budget to (name of your company)" when using the budget calculator. If you need the form resent, please contact us here.

There are two versions of the form, and we'll create both versions for you. Both are fillable PDFs that are easy to share. The two-page version includes a second page with a handy room vs. system matrix, which could be helpful in project meetings. We assume the version you'll want to share with your trade partners is the single-page version. The PTA form helps you and your trade partners in several ways:

  1. reminds them of the breadth of your services
  2. tells them how early you need to be involved
  3. helps them with client due diligence (they can’t get blamed for ‘forgetting’ tech)
  4. gets you hired earlier
  5. a powerful marketing ‘touch’

By presenting this form to your trade partners, you are not only ensuring that home technology is a priority from the outset but also demonstrating your commitment to a well-planned and executed project. This early involvement will lead to stronger trade partner relationships, better design outcomes, and enhanced client satisfaction, reinforcing the value of choosing an HTA Certified integrator. To request your logo'd forms, please request one through our contact form here.
