For years now, lounge-styled home theaters and media rooms have been gaining in popularity. This lounge style has now really established a strong position in the home theater and media room market, and it’s here to stay. Where we used to see seating layouts exclusively comprised of the ‘old-school’ high-back theater seating, we now see a movement toward lounge-style entertainment environments. Our designers often call it “theaters that don’t look and feel like an actual theater, but still perform like one.”
What’s also very popular is a combination of both traditional theater seating and loung seating. This represents as a combination of family/lounge-style seating rows and old-school high-back theater seating.
Aside from its industry-leading craftsmanship, CINEAK specializes in bringing motorization and automation into entertainment furniture. In fact, we took the lead in developing motorized and automated seating for entertainment. This means that all seats in these loungy configurations have the ability to be fully motorized and automated. Footrests, backrests, and headrests, for example, can be operated independently from one another. One of CINEAK’s exclusive and remarkable developments is that even chaise beds—often placed the front row of a theater—are fully motorized as well. Needless to say, due to their full adjustability, maximum comfort is provided and considered a hallmark of CINEAK.
CINEAK’s most popular sofa-style seating models are GRAMERCY, MONDRIAN, LARGO, STRATO. We are excited to introduce our latest additions, the OLLIE and TREVIA. More details to follow soon, so stay tuned for the unveiling of these innovative CINEAK models. Like all CINEAK seating offerings, these models are modular and feature several standard armrest and seating widths, which can be customized if needed. This means that there is a solution for every room, even the more challenging ones.
You can complete the seating setup and overall look with accent pieces such as functional floating tables and reading lights, specially designed for furniture. The seats can also be tied into the home automation system and controlled as such.
