Where TV and Sculpture Collide

C SEED will show the BUGATTI N1, an indoor television built in partnership with BUGATTI, the automotive marque founded on the idea that engineering and sculpture could be the same discipline. The N1 carries forward BUGATTI's "C-line," the flowing curve that defines the silhouette of its hyper sports cars, into a curved metallic body with seamless transitions, guided by the shared philosophy "Art, Forme, Technique." It's also a disappearing display, in the tradition C SEED is known for, so a client gets the sculptural object and the vanishing screen in one piece. This product is worth specifying like a considered furniture object rather than a spec-sheet TV, especially for clients who think about their home as a collection.
Smart Lighting that Feels Like a Switch

One of the most common friction points in smart lighting is that controls stop feeling like a light switch when clients lose the tactile confirmation they've relied on their whole lives. Lutron Aviena solves that directly: it feels and sounds like a traditional toggle while quietly doing far more underneath. You get modern control capability without asking a client to relearn how to turn on a light, a detail that shows up in daily use more than almost anything else in the house. The Aviena Keypad pairs a traditional mechanical toggle switch with a digital backend, a weighted touch, a solid click, and separate quick-press and extended-hold commands.

Interior lighting and landscape lighting have typically been two separate specs and two control systems, until now. Coastal Source and Lutron are unveiling VIA, the first product out of Lutron's Native by Design program built specifically for the outdoors, delivering native Lutron control, tunable white, color, and precision dimming in solid brass fixtures rated for harsh exposure, alongside Coastal Source's PowerSource, the industry's first UL-listed, plug-and-play 120V power system approved for both direct-burial and above-ground use. VIA makes it one native system from the living room to the far edge of the property. One lighting plan, one point of coordination, one seamless integration.
Modular Lighting Design a Win for Homeowners

DMF is all about modularity in lighting fixtures. It is not only a convenience for the home technology integrator, it's a great maintenance decision that benefits the client for years. A modular fixture means a driver or module can be serviced without cutting into a ceiling or replacing the fixture entirely, which matters in high-ceiling spaces or anywhere access is expensive. It’s worth flagging to clients as a durability feature. At the show, DMF is spotlighting Artafex 1, a one-inch downlight built to remove the compromises that have historically come with fixtures this small, including output, glare, and serviceability, using a 3-stage, patent-pending optic. One-inch downlights are the fixture of choice when a ceiling needs to stay as clean as possible, but going that small has usually meant worse light quality or a fixture that's difficult to service later, so a one-inch fixture that removes that trade-off is a genuine win for minimalist ceiling design.

Just Video Walls’ Absolute Black combines image fidelity with architectural flexibility, with more than a 54% improvement in panel uniformity, closing the trade-off video walls have historically made between scale and visible seams. The better this technology gets, the more it opens up unconventional placements like oversized feature walls and immersive room treatments. It also raises the stakes on early coordination: structural load, power, ventilation, and service access all need resolving before the wall goes up, so bring the integrator in during schematic design if a project is considering a wall at this scale.

The Lutron Integrated Lighted Mirror collection features integrated Lutron Rania Intelligent Lighting and native HomeWorks control, designed to complete the Lutron home at the mirror with beautiful, uniform illumination, tunable white light, and personalized lighting experiences tailored to each room, routine, and time of day. It's a clean example of technology absorbed into an element already on the plans rather than added alongside it. For bath design, tunable lighting at the mirror solves a real problem: Task lighting for grooming needs to be bright and neutral while evening ambient lighting needs to be warmer and dimmer, and most bath lighting can't do both well.
A New Way to Hide a TV

Stealth Acoustics' Falcon, part of the company's Reveal Series, lives in a compact, customizable enclosure and unfolds into a significantly larger screen when in use, then retracts back down when it's not. This is a solution that doesn't ask the room to compromise on scale to stay clean when the TV's off. That solves a complaint that comes up on nearly every high-end project: the client wants a serious screen size, but doesn't want a big black rectangle anchoring the room when nobody's watching. It's a detail worth raising early with clients who are on the fence about a large-format TV (specifically because of how it looks at rest), in highly designed, aesthetically oriented primary living spaces.
Mood and Functional Lighting in One

Outdoor lighting sometimes gets specified twice, once for function, once for mood or event lighting. Sometimes, it’s even two separate systems with two separate budgets and conduit runs. WAC is bringing its X-Track outdoor track lighting system paired with new Colorscaping tunable track heads for landscape and outdoor living to CEDIA Expo. This track-based platform handles both function and mood in one coordinated system. This means the lighting design can evolve after the hardscape is finished, so that a client who wants warm white daily and color for a party merely needs a different setting on the same track.

Radical New Home Cinema Speaker Design from ASCENDO Immersive Audio

Surround and overhead speakers are usually one of the more architecturally demanding parts of a cinema. Normally, they need to be carefully aimed at the seating area, which drives wall angles, ceiling detail, and sightlines long before fit and finish. ASCENDO's new loudspeaker eliminates all that with its new Panoramic Surface On-Wall speaker, which uses ASCENDO’s full-range composite radiating surface technology, engineered for broad, consistent dispersion approaching 180 degrees.
